Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. Tires

The Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. is a high performance, summer tire designed for racing vehicles. The model is not intended for public roads, but for specific racing surfaces.

The particular design of the model allows exceptional dry weather only traction. The summer compound blend keeps the tire flexible and drivable in hot temperatures. A high road-to-rubber ratio boosts the model’s traction on dry surfaces by creating a larger contact patch. This makes sure the model has constant surface contact. Furthermore, the slick tire has stable tread elements due to very little void area, which minimizes tread flexing and ensures superb performance.

The tire is optimized to upgrade safety levels during high speed driving. The strengthened structure doesn’t allow the model to deform under high speed driving pressure, since it evenly circulates it along the tire’s circumference. This averts pressure build up and reduces the possibility of blowouts. Moreover, the tire uses a heat-resistant compound. It helps ease off the pressure affecting the tire, enhancing the high speed drive.

The Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. promotes excellent traction. Its stable tread area and the consistent road contact increase structural integrity and the overall performance. As such, the driving stability is ensured at all times. An optimal road-to-rubber ratio creates a great contact patch to boost the tire’s steering response time and accuracy. A larger contact patch also enhances maneuvering. The squared shoulders and the siping details work with the greater contact patch to maximize fiction and deliver better cornering and braking.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
