Kenda K3012 Tires

The Kenda K3012 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.

The ideal tread design and surface contact promotes excellent controllability and driving stability. The ideal tread design manages to keep close surface contact, which boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against driving pressure. The model has large tread elements that firmly grip the grass and field surface, improving maneuvering. As a result, these elements promote the driver’s excellent control over the vehicle.

The tire also offers great all weather traction. The ideal tread design and the all season compound improve traction in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. In other words, the optimal tread design can keep close surface contact in any weather conditions, while the compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. As a result, this tread design and all season compound provide a safe year-round performance.

The Kenda K3012 improves turf-friendly drive. The optimal tread design greatly improves soft traction, easing the pressure off the turf surface. In this manner, excessive traction does not harm the field during the tire’s performance. As the tire does not damage the grass field, it manages to keep it safe, offering a safer driving experience.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.

The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
